Blackmagic Design Releases Video Assist 3.16 Update with Fujifilm X-T50 Support

We are excited to announce that Blackmagic Design has released the Video Assist 3.16 update, bringing significant enhancements to their Video Assist 5” and 7” 12G HDR models. This latest update adds support for Blackmagic RAW recording from Fujifilm X-T50 cameras, expanding the versatility and capabilities of these popular recording devices.
New Features and Improvements:
Support for Fujifilm X-T50 Cameras: Users can now record in Blackmagic RAW from Fujifilm X-T50 cameras using the Video Assist 5” and 7” 12G HDR models. This new capability allows for high-quality, flexible recording options.
Metadata Encoding: When recording in Blackmagic RAW with Video Assist 12G HDR, the camera's settings, including white balance and exposure, are saved in the metadata. These settings can be read by DaVinci Resolve for seamless editing and color correction. Additionally, users have the option to override these settings in the RAW settings palette during post-production, providing greater control and flexibility.
