Primary Transport Controller
The JLCooper Eclipse BTX Midnight is a primary transport controller for video editing applications such as Apple Final Cut Pro and provides a tactile control surface. It also sports a black finish and allows you to arrange your workspace to include tablets, keyboards, and other expansion options like the Eclipse MX Midnight, when it is combined with Eclipse SX.
Incorporating a custom-made optically encoded jog dial/wheel, the controller offers professional transport buttons along with a set of 23 function keys illuminated by a white backlight. Endowed with a compact design (13.5 x 11.5 x 3.25"), the BTX Midnight still manages to easily house 2 interface card slots. Interface compatibility is offered for RS-232, RS-422, Quad RS-422, USB, Ethernet, and GPI (8 in / 8 out) interface cards.
Peripheral connectivity is augmented via an expansion port that allows you to connect the BTX with other Eclipse and MCS-3000 devices. The Eclipse BTX Midnight is RoHS compliant.
